small x small (tnishbe’tnish)
5 August, 2007 | 7 comments | Category: I.dentity, thinking...
We think, we write, we ponder love & peace, we love stories & creative pieces, we use words & other modes of expression to explore the world around & within us. We are in awe of life & its crumbs, its drops of despair, its figments of joy…
We invite you on this journey. Read with us, write with us, create with us, talk with us…share life, culture and Africa.
We collect our peaces in senduQ because we wanted, we needed, to read what we wrote (c) Toni Morrison.
While we all hail from a society where individual voices aren’t the norm, where the collective voice speaks louder, we believe that individual voices have to speak up – if necessary alone – in self-knowledge, self-reflection and self-expression to resonate truths for themselves and thus for others…so we speak! and we share what stirs our souls…in hopes it will be of value to others and that we can learn something in the give & take.
So here is our humble, heartfelt and maybe obliviously naive statement along with a disclaimer we’ll surely bring all sorts of insanities as well! senduQ is there to burst out of boxes, limits and confinements. To speak and express freely, share stories & our exploration of life, sanity and meaning and most of all in sharing with each other and with you: to enjoy the process of sharing.
Our creative pieces arise in our voices from our home in the grove of the African Horn and Europe, the US and Canada where we currently live…

Awesome! I love the changes you made. Berchi. By the way, your being a woman came as a sort of surprise. Not sure why. (I know why, it’s because i thought you were a guy). It maybe the nick. It maybe the subjects your posted seemed interested in. I know how that sounds. But I did. And glad to know you ain’t. We may not have much in common, but it sure is a treat meeting another female blogger from our neck of the woods. Have always been a big fan of your blog name.
