goo-ish dark mineral oozing
from below surface skin
power harnessing pulsations
jarred – an electric shock disturbance of a country’s heartbeat

skin grafts uplift and side-shifts
rejoice change, mourn entrapment
political economic infrastructure claws
plunge through their skin…
insert straw. sip and draw out
